Michigan Panthers sign linebacker Javin White

The Michigan Panthers signed linebacker Javin White for the 2024 season on Tuesday.

Javin White is six foot two and weighs 211 pounds. The 26-year-old from San Diego, California, was with the Chicago Bears in 2022 playing one game in the preseason with two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) before he was placed on injured reserve.

Before Chicago, White signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He played four regular season games for the Raiders with four tackles (3 solo, 1 assist). In 2021, the Raiders released him and he later signed with the New York Jets.

Collegiately, White played four seasons at UNLV (2016-19) with 201 tackles (124 solo, 77 assists), 18 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, nine interceptions for 151 yards, one touchdown, 25 pass breakups, seven forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 43 games for the Rebels.

White was an All-MWC Honorable Mention in 2019 and was named to the UNLV Football All-Decade Team at linebacker.
