The Michigan Panthers released tight end Kyle Markway on Wednesday.
Kyle Markway is six foot four and weighs 250 pounds. The 26-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri, played two games for the Panthers in 2023 but recorded no stats. The Panthers acquired Markway from the Birmingham Stallions on December 16, 2022.
Before Michigan, Markway signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He also had stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and Los Angeles Rams.
Collegiately, Markway played four seasons at South Carolina (2015-19) with 37 catches for 459 yards, and three touchdowns in 14 games for the Gamecocks.
