The New Orleans Breakers signed defensive back Tyler Baker-Williams for the 2024 season on Friday.
Tyler Baker-Williams is six foot and weighs 206 pounds. The 23-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He played in three preseason games with one tackle. The Breakers drafted Baker-Williams in the 10th round (76th pick) of the 2023 USFL Draft.
Collegiately, Baker-Williams played five seasons at North Carolina State (2018-22) with 153 tackles (81 solo, 72 assists), 13 tackles for loss, three sacks, five interceptions for eight yards, 22 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 46 games for the Wolfpack. Baker-Williams was named Second Team All-ACC by PFF and a two-time All-ACC Honorable Mention.
