The Michigan Panthers signed wide receiver Samson Nacua for the 2024 season on Tuesday.
Samson Nacua is six foot four and weighs 195 pounds. The 25-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada, was targeted two times in two games for the Pittsburgh Maulers in 2023. The Maulers signed Nacua as a free agent on November 9, 2022. Before Pittsburgh, Nacua signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022.
Collegiately, Nacua played four seasons at Utah (2017-20) with 82 catches for 1,015 yards, 11 touchdowns, one carry for three yards, and one punt return for 18 yards in 45 games for the Utes. Then, Nacua transferred to BYU in 2021 with 21 catches for 329 yards, three touchdowns, seven carries for 29 yards, and one touchdown in 13 games for the Cougars.
