The Lehigh Valley Phantoms recalled goaltender Parker Gahagen and defenseman Darren Brady from the Reading Royals on Thursday. This move comes after the Flyers recalled goaltender Cal Peterson and loaned defenseman Victor Mete to Lehigh Valley.

Parker Gahagen is six foot two and weighs 194 pounds. The 30-year-old from Amherst, New York, is 2-1 this season for Lehigh Valley with a 2.34 GAA, and a .911 save percentage in three games.

Before Lehigh Valley, Gahagen played for the Jacksonville Icemen last season with an 18-8-1 record, a 2.66 GAA, and a .912 save percentage in 33 games. In addition, Gahagen was 2-2, with a 3.18 GAA, and a .891 save percentage in four ECHL playoff games.

Gahagen has played five ECHL seasons with the Jacksonville Icemen, Colorado Eagles, Newfoundland Growlers, Utah Grizzlies, and Florida Everblades with a 58-26-5 record, a 2.30 GAA, and a .920 save percentage in 100 games.

In addition, he is 3-5-1, with a 3.17 GAA, and a .885 save percentage in nine playoff games. He is a member of the 2021-22 Florida Everblades Kelly Cup Championship team.

Gahagen also played one season in the SPHL for the Evansville Thunderbolts with a 3-2 record, a 2.63 GAA, and a .919 save percentage in six games.

In the AHL, Gahagen has played five seasons for the San Jose Barracuda, Toronto Marlies, Colorado Eagles, Milwaukee Admirals, and Hartford Wolf Pack with a 5-4 record, a 3.34 GAA, and a .885 save percentage in 12 games.

Collegiately, Gahagen played four seasons at Army (2013-16) with a 41-49-16 record, a 2.40 GAA, and a .926 save percentage in 110 games for the Black Knights. He is a two-time Second Team AHA All-Conference.

Darren Brady is six foot and weighs 200 pounds. The 27-year-old from Lake Orion, Michigan, has five points (5 assists) in five games for the Reading Royals this season. Before Reading, Brady earned three assists in 12 games for the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL) and had nine points (3 goals, 6 assists), and 33 penalty minutes with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) last season.

Brady played three seasons in the NAHL for the Soo Eagles and New Jersey Junior Titans with 69 points (13 goals, 56 assists), and 98 penalty minutes in 170 games. In addition, he earned four points (1 goal, 3 assists), and six penalty minutes in ten games. He was named NAHL All-East Division Team in the 2015-16 season.

Then, Brady played four seasons at R.I.T. (Rochester Institute of Technology) collecting 36 points (10 goals, 26 assists), and 52 penalty minutes in 135 games for the Tigers. He served as the Tigers captain in the final season at R.I.T.

Next, played eight games for the Macon Mayhem (SPHL) with two assists, and two penalty minutes. Brady played three seasons in the ECHL for the Rapid City Rush and Idaho Steelheads with 37 points (7 goals, 30 assists), and 43 penalty minutes in 95 games.

In the AHL, Brady played two seasons for the Abbotsford Canucks and San Jose Barracuda with nine points (3 goals, 6 assists), and 33 penalty minutes in 52 games.
