The Villanova Wildcats (7-2) visited Wildcat Stadium on Saturday afternoon against the New Hampshire Wildcats (4-5). Villanova fought hard to come away with a 45-33 win.

Villanova had 436 yards on offense. Quarterback Connor Watkins completed 15 of 25 passes (60%) for 188 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, four carries for 26 yards, and two touchdowns. Running back Jalen Jackson had 19 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns.

New Hampshire had 397 yards on offense. Quarterback Max Brosmer completed 27 of 40 passes (68%) for 259 yards, one touchdown, three interceptions, and four carries for three yards. Running back Dylan Laube had 19 carries for 132 yards, two touchdowns, and ten catches for 75 yards.

New Hampshire wide receiver DJ Linkins made three catches for 27 yards, and one touchdown. New Hampshire’s defense made 69 tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one interception, one pass breakup, and two quarterback hits.
