Calgary Stampeders fullback Charlie Power announced his retirement after a ten-year career on Sunday.

Charlie Power is six foot three and weighs 239 pounds. The 32-year-old from Chamblee, Georgia, made 18 tackles on special teams in 18 games for the Stampeders in 2023. In 2022, Power had one carry for three yards, and eleven tackles on special teams in 15 games for the Stampeders.

The Stampeders drafted Power in the fourth round (28th pick) in the 2013 CFL Draft but Power returned to Saskatchewan for his final season.

In ten seasons, Power has one carry for three yards, seven catches for 37 yards, 94 tackles on special teams, three forced fumbles, and three blocked punts in 118 games for the Stampeders. He is a two-time Grey Cup champion (2014, 2018).

Collegiately, Power played five seasons at the University of Saskatchewan (2009-13). He started as a linebacker, making 32 tackles (21 solo, 11 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries. Then, he switched to fullback with one carry for two yards, 32 catches for 374 yards, and three touchdowns playing 32 games for the Huskies.
