The Philadelphia Stars signed defensive tackle Trey Botts for the 2024 season on Wednesday.
Trey Botts is six foot two and weighs 292 pounds. The 24-year-old from Aurora, Colorado, signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. He played three preseason games for the Ravens with seven tackles (4 solo, 3 assists) and one sack.
The Philadelphia Stars drafted Botts in the 8th round (62nd pick) of the 2023 USFL Draft. Collegiately, Botts played four seasons at Colorado State-Pueblo (2018-19, 2021-22) with 153 tackles (58 solo, 95 assists), 25.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery in 43 games for the Thunderwolves. He is a two-time All-RMAC Honorable Mention team.
