The Saskatchewan Roughriders and long snapper Jorgen Hus agreed to a two-year contract extension through the 2025 season on Tuesday.

Jorgen Hus is six foot one and weighs 230 pounds. The 34-year-old from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, made two tackles in 18 games for the Roughriders in 2023. This will be Hus’s eighth season in Saskatchewan. In seven seasons, Hus has made 21 tackles and one fumble recovery in 131 games for the Roughriders.

The Edmonton Eskimos drafted Hus in the fourth round (31st pick) of the 2013 CFL Draft. However, Hus went to the NFL and spent time with the St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and Kansas City Chiefs.

On May 15, 2015, the Eskimos traded Hus’s rights to the Saskatchewan Roughriders and he signed with them ten days later.

Collegiately, Hus played three seasons at the University of Regina (2010-12) with 34.5 tackles (24 solo, 21 assists), half a tackle for loss, half a sack, one forced fumble, and one blocked punt in 23 games for the Rams.
