The B.C. Lions signed quarterback Chase Brice, wide receivers Devin Ravenel, Jamarius Way, and Milton Wright, offensive lineman Amari Catchings, and defensive linemen Juliano Falaniko, and Dominic Quewon.

Chase Brice is six foot three and weighs 235 pounds. The 25-year-old from Grayson, Georgia, spent most of the season on the practice squad and suited up in two games as a backup in 2023. The Lions signed Brice as a free agent on June 4, 2023. Before B.C., Brice attended the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Commanders rookie minicamps in 2023.

Collegiately, Brice played two seasons at Clemson (2018-19) completing 12 of 32 passes (62.8%) for 442 yards, five touchdowns, three interceptions, and 16 carries for 115 yards in 12 games for the Tigers, winning the National Championship in 2018.

Then, he transferred to Duke in 2020, completing 193 of 352 passes (55%) for 2,170 yards, ten touchdowns, 15 interceptions, 11 carries for 91 yards, and one touchdown in 11 games for the Blue Devils.

In 2021, he transferred to Appalachian State (2021-22) completing 461 of 739 passes (62%) for 6,258 yards, 54 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, 142 carries for 268 yards, and seven touchdowns in 26 games for the Mountaineers. He was named Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year and Third Team All-Sun Belt in 2021.

Devin Ravenel is six foot and weighs 171 pounds. The 24-year-old from Stafford, Virginia, attended the Baltimore Ravens rookie minicamp in 2023. Collegiately, Ravenel played five seasons at James Madison (2018-22) with 48 catches for 692 yards, 11 touchdowns, 3 carries for 18 yards, 1 kick return for 43 yards, and 1 touchdown in 48 games of the Dukes.

Jamarius Way is six foot four and weighs 220 pounds. The 27-year-old from Belle Glade, Florida, did not play a game for the Lions in 2022. He was with the Lions during training camp and played two preseason games with seven catches for 87 yards before an elbow injury sidelined him.

In 2019, the Denver Broncos signed Way as an undrafted free agent and attended training camp. Collegiately, Way played two seasons at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa, with 41 catches for 596 yards and 11 touchdowns in 11 games.

In 2016, he was named First-Team All-Region and All-Iowa Community College Athletic Conference. After Ellsworth, Way transferred to South Alabama (2017-18) with 108 catches for 1,617 yards and 11 touchdowns in 24 games.

Milton Wright is six foot three and weighs 195 pounds. The 23-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He appeared in two preseason games but recorded no stats.

Collegiately, Wright played three seasons at Purdue (2019-21) with 99 catches for 1,325 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 6 carries for 16 yards in 29 games for the Boilermakers. He was named Fourth Team All-Big 10 by Phil Steele.

Amari Catchings is six foot four and weighs 320 pounds. The 25-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi, played 13 games for the Bay Area Panthers (IFL) in 2023 helping them win the United Bowl championship over the Sioux Falls Storm. The Panthers ranked third on offense in scoring, third in rushing yards per game (95.7), and 12th in average passing yards per game (134.5).

Collegiately, Catchings played four seasons at Jackson State (2018-21) playing 17 games. In 2019, the Tigers’ offense scored 26.08 points per game… 2699 yards of rushing yards for 188.3 per game, 2400 passing yards for 200.25 per game, 4663 yards of total offense, and 388.6 yards per game.

Juliano Falaniko is six foot four and weighs 245 pounds. The 24-year-old from Pago Pago, American Samoa, played one season at Idaho in 2022 with 38 tackles (14 solo, 24 assists), 6 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, one pass breakup, and 1 forced fumble in 11 games for the Vandals.

Before Idaho, Falaniko played five seasons at USC (2017-21) with 21 tackles (13 solo, 8 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, half a sack, and one fumble recovery in 37 games for the Trojans.

Dominic Quewon is six foot three and weighs 254 pounds. The 24-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota, went undrafted in 2023 before attending the Chicago Bears rookie minicamp.

Collegiately, Quewon played three seasons at Western Community College (2017-19) with 70 tackles (36 solo, 34 assists), 9 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, and 1 forced fumble in 22 games for the Reivers. Then, Quewon transferred to Southern Mississippi (2020-22) with 40 tackles (26 solo, 14 assists), 16 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, 1 interception, 2 pass breakups, and 4 forced fumbles in 27 games for the Golden Eagles.
