The Calgary Stampeders re-signed offensive lineman Joshua Coker to a two-year extension through the 2025 season on Wednesday.

Joshua Coker is six foot two and weighs 336 pounds. The 26-year-old from Chicago, Illinois, played 12 games, of which he made 11 starts playing right tackle in 2023. In 2022, Coker played two games playing right tackle. He signed with the Stampeders as a free agent in 2021.

Collegiately, Coker played 25 games in four seasons at Rhodes College (2015-18) playing right tackle for the Lynx. He earned American Football Coaches Association Division III Coaches’ All-American honors as well as first-team all-Southern Athletic Association recognition in each of his final two seasons.

In addition, he became the first Lynx player in program history to be named all-American in consecutive years. In 2018, he was part of an offensive line that helped the Lynx to rush for an average of 176.3 yards per game.
