The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed wide receivers Kalija Lipscomb, Dohnte Meyers, Jake Parker, and Kendall Watson, and linebacker Jaxon Ciraolo-Brown on Wednesday.

Kalija Lipscomb is six foot one and weighs 201 pounds. The 26-year-old from New Orleans, Louisiana, was on the Roughriders practice squad. He signed with them as a free agent on February 14, 2023.

Before Saskatchewan, Lipscomb signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and made the practice squad. He would later sign with the Green Bay Packers and the Tennessee Titans.

Collegiately, Lipscomb played four seasons at Vanderbilt University (2016-20) with 198 catches for 2,356 yards, 22 touchdowns, 24 carries for 149 yards, one touchdown, three kick returns for 49 yards, and 24 punt returns for 232 yards in 48 games for the Commodores.

Dohnte Meyers is five foot eleven and weighs 186 pounds. The 24-year-old from Duluth, Georgia, earned a rookie camp invite from the Atlanta Falcons in 2023.

Collegiately, Meyers played two seasons at Presbyterian College (2018-19) with 54 catches for 671 yards, and 7 touchdowns in 20 games for the Blue Hose. Then, he transferred to Delta State (2021-22) with 120 catches for 1,542 yards, 13 touchdowns, 2 carries for 30 yards, and 4 punt returns for 13 yards in 24 games for the Statesmen.

Jake Parker is six foot one and weighs 210 pounds. The 27-year-old from Whitehouse, Texas, attended the Roughriders training camp in 2023.

Collegiately, Parker played one season at Tyler Community College in 2014 with four catches for 59 yards in four games for the Apache.

Then, Parker transferred to Howard Payne University (2019-21) with 123 catches for 2,282 yards, 21 touchdowns, 19 carries for 138 yards, one touchdown, 14 kick returns for 200 yards, and 15 punt returns for 207 yards, one touchdown, seven tackles (6 solo, 1 assist), two interceptions for 50 yards, two pass breakups, and one blocked kick in 25 games for the Yellow Jackets. He was named First Team All-ASC and ASC Player of the Year in 2021.

Kendall Watson is five foot ten and weighs 183 pounds. The 24-year-old from Chattanooga, Tennessee, made 17 catches for 154 yards in four games for the Roughriders in 2023.

Collegiately, Watson played five seasons at Samford University (2018-22) with 167 catches for 2,064 yards, 14 touchdowns, and two carries for six yards in 47 games for the Bulldogs.

In his final collegiate season, Watson made 88 catches for 1,034 yards, 6.8 average receptions per game, ten touchdowns, and one carry for one yard in 13 games for the Bulldogs. Watson was named SoCon Second-Team All-Conference.

Jaxon Ciraolo-Brown is six foot and weighs 200 pounds. The 24-year-old from Hamilton, Ontario, was drafted by the Ticats in the eighth round (73rd pick) of the 2022 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Ciraolo-Brown played six seasons at the University of British Columbia (2018-23) with 161 tackles (104 solo, 57 assists), 8 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 4 interceptions for 123 yards, 7 pass breakups, and 1 forced fumble in 26 games for the Thunderbirds. He was named a Canada West All-Star in 2023.
