Since the Lehigh Valley Phantoms last game on December 3rd in a 3-2 loss to the Providence Bruins. There have been several transactions that took place in a couple of days.

First, the Philadelphia Flyers placed defenseman Louie Belpedio on waivers with the purpose of reassigning him to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Belpedio cleared waivers on December 5th but the Flyer elected to keep him on the roster. Should they decide to send Belpedio back to Lehigh Valley, they do so without putting him on waivers again.

Louie Belpedio is five foot eleven and weighs 180 pounds. The 27-year-old from Skokie, Illinois, has one point (1 assist) in five games for the Phantoms this season. He last played on October 22nd, against the Springfield Thunderbirds. In Philadelphia, Belpedio earned four points (2 goals, 2 assists) and six penalty minutes in 12 games.

Next, the Flyers recalled forward Olle Lycksell. Olle Lycksell is five foot eleven and weighs 176 pounds. The 24-year-old from Oskarshamn, Sweden leads the Phantoms with 19 points (12 goals, 7 assists), four penalty minutes, and six power-play goals in 21 games this season.

Then, the Phantoms were sent forwards Ryan Chyzowski and Jacob Gaucher, and defenseman Mason Millman from the Reading Royals. However, as a result of Lycksell’s call-up, Gaucher returned to the Phantoms.

Ryan Chyzowski is six foot one and weighs 170 pounds. The 23-year-old from Kamloops, British Columbia, has 15 points (10 goals, 5 assists) and 40 penalty minutes in 17 games for the Reading Royals this season.

Mason Millman is six foot one and weighs 176 pounds. The 22-year-old from London, Ontario, earned three points (3 assists) and four penalty minutes in eight games for the Phantoms this season. In addition, Millman has one point (1 goal) and six penalty minutes in six games for the Reading Royals. The Flyers drafted Millman in the fourth round (103rd pick) of the 2019 NHL Draft.

In Lehigh Valley, Millman is in his fourth season with seven points (7 assists) and 20 penalty minutes in 34 games for the Phantoms. In Reading, Millman is in his third season with 71 points (17 goals, 54 assists) and 55 penalty minutes in 105 games. In the ECHL playoffs, Millman has ten points (2 goals, 8 assists) and 20 penalty minutes in 24 games.

Before the Phantoms, Millman played three seasons for the Saginaw Spirit (OHL) with 69 points (16 goals, 53 assists) and 101 penalty minutes in 130 games. In the OHL playoffs, Millman had ten points (10 assists) and four penalty minutes in 16 games.

In 2017, Millman played junior hockey with the St. Thomas Stars (GOJHL) with 22 points (6 goals, 16 assists) and 22 penalty minutes in 46 games. In the GOJHL playoffs, Millman earned 10 points (10 assists) and four penalty minutes in 16 games.

Jacob Gaucher is six foot three and weighs 185 pounds. The 22-year-old from Longueuil, Quebec, has one point (1 assist) and eight penalty minutes in eight games for the Phantoms this season. In addition, Gaucher played three games for the Reading Royals this season.

In two seasons in Reading, Gaucher has 61 points (22 goals, 39 assists) and 30 penalty minutes in 74 games for the Royals. In the ECHL playoffs, Gaucher has 12 points (6 goals, 6 assists) and six penalty minutes in 11 games.

The Phantoms signed Gaucher as a free agent on October 4, 2022. Before Lehigh Valley, Gaucher played five seasons in the QMJHL with the Val-d’Or Foreurs and Baie-Comeau Drakkar with 141 points (65 goals, 76 assists) in 242 games. In addition, Gaucher had 12 points (2 goals, 10 assists) in 23 playoff games. In his final year, Gaucher was the captain of Baie-Comeau Drakkar, earning 68 points (35 goals, 33 assists) in 66 games. In the playoffs, he had three points (3 assists) in four games.

In 2021, Gaucher won the Marcel Roberts Trophy as the QMJHL Scholastic Player of the Year award. He completed 15 courses of his Business Degree at the University of New Brunswick at that time while maintaining a 4.1 GPA.
