The Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed offensive lineman Brandon Revenberg to a two-year contract extension through the 2025 season on Wednesday.
Brandon Revenberg is six foot four and weighs 301 pounds. The 30-year-old from Essex, Ontario, played 18 games at left guard for the Ticats in 2023. He was named a CFL East All-Star in 2023.
The Ticats’ offense finished seventh in points per game (22.7), fifth in offensive points per game (20.9), fifth in offensive touchdowns (35), fourth in net offense per game (352.0), seventh in rushing yards per game (96.7), and four in sacks allowed (46).
The Ticats drafted Revenberg in the first round (3rd pick) of the 2016 CFL Draft. In seven seasons, Revenberg played 120 games, of which 107 were starts. Revenberg is a four-time CFL All-Star (2018-19, 2021-22), a five-time CFL East All-Star (2018-19, 2021-23), and a three-time winner of the Leo Dandurand Trophy (Outstanding Lineman).
Collegiately, Revenberg played four seasons at Grand Valley State (2011-14) playing 32 games, of which 25 were starts at right tackle for the Lakers. In 2013, the Lakers’ offense averaged 35.0 points, 431.3 yards of total offense per game, and 6.8 yards per play. He was named Second Team All-GLIAC in 2013.
