The Philadelphia Stars signed defensive back Destin Mack for the 2024 season on Thursday.
Destin Mack is six foot and weighs 195 pounds. The 24-year-old from Macon, Georgia, was drafted by the Stars in the ninth round (70th pick) of the 2023 USFL Draft.
In 2022, Mack made 50 tackles (36 solo, 14 assists), half a tackle for loss, two interceptions, three pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in ten games for the Bulldogs. He was named Preseason First-Team All-Southern Conference in 2022.
In 2021, Mack made 44 tackles (31 solo, 13 assists), two tackles for loss, five interceptions, seven pass breakups, one fumble recovery, and two blocked kicks in 11 games. Mack was named Second-Team All-Southern Conference by the Media and Coaches.
Mack played five seasons at Citadel (2018-22) with 182 tackles (122 solo, 60 assists), six tackles for loss, two sacks, nine interceptions for 171 yards, 20 pass breakups, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and two blocked kicks in 53 games for the Bulldogs.
