The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed running back Jerrion Ealy on Thursday.

Jerrion Ealy is five foot eight and weighs 189 pounds. The 23-year-old from Walnut Grove, Mississippi, had five carries for 11 yards in three preseason games for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023. The Chiefs signed Ealy as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He spent two seasons on Kansas City’s practice squad.

Collegiately, Ealy played three seasons at Ole Miss (2019-21) with 384 carries for 2,235 yards, 20 touchdowns, 67 catches for 545 yards, four touchdowns, 34 kick returns for 864 yards, and two touchdowns in 33 games for the Rebels.

Ealy is a three-time Second Team All-SEC (2019-21), 2019 SEC All-Freshman Team, a Doak Walker Award Watch List in 2021, a Maxwell Award Watch List in 2021, and a Paul Hornung Award Watch List in 2021.
