Winnipeg Blue Bombers and DB Redha Kramdi agree to a two-year extension

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and defensive back Redha Kramdi agreed to a two-year contract extension through the 2025 season on Tuesday. Kramdi was scheduled to be a free agent in February.

Redha Kramdi is five foot ten and weighs 194 pounds. The 26-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, made 22 tackles, six tackles on special teams, and two sacks in 14 games for the Blue Bombers in 2023.

The Blue Bombers drafted Kramdi in the second round (16th pick) of the 2021 CFL Draft. In three seasons, Kramdi has 31 tackles, 14 tackles on special teams, and two sacks in 38 games. Kramdi has helped the Blue Bombers reach three Grey Cup championship games winning one in 2021.

Collegiately, Kramdi played three seasons at the University of Montreal (2017-19) with 87 tackles (69 solo, 18 assists), 12 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble in 22 games for the Carabins.
