The Calgary Stampeders re-signed offensive lineman Bryce Bell to a three-year contract extension through the 2025 season on Wednesday.
Bryce Bell is six foot four and weighs 314 pounds. The 25-year-old from Waterloo, Ontario, played 12 games playing center for the Stampeders in 2023.
The Stampeders’ offense ranked fourth in offense average points (21.8), sixth in average rushing yards (99.5), seventh in offensive touchdowns (33) and passing yards average (237.0), eighth in net offense average (321.5), and third in sacks allowed (34).
The Stampeders drafted Bell in the second round (11th pick) of the 2021 CFL Draft. In 2022, Bell played 12 games after taking over the starting role due to Sean McEwen’s injury.
Collegiately, Bell played four seasons at Wilfrid Laurier University (2016-19) playing 26 games for the Golden Hawks, He is a member of the 2016 Yates Cup championship team and a two-time Glenn Caroll Team of the Year.
