Michigan Panthers sign OL Kyle Fuller and LB Isaac Darkangelo

The Michigan Panthers signed offensive lineman Kyle Fuller and linebacker Isaac Darkangelo for the 2024 season on Thursday.

Kyle Fuller is six foot four and weighs 315 pounds. The 29-year-old from Duncanville, Texas, played three preseason games for the Denver Broncos in 2023 and later spent time on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad.

Before Baltimore, the Houston Texans drafted Fuller in the seventh round (243rd pick) of the 2017 NFL Draft. He later spent time with the Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, and Seattle Seahawks playing 51 games, of which 12 were starts with one fumble recovery.

Collegiately, Fuller played four seasons at Baylor (2013-16) playing center in 52 games for the Bears. In 2016, the offensive line helped block for the Big 12’s best rushing offense (241.8 YPG). He was named First Team All-Big 12 by league coaches, Phil Steele, and Athlon.

Isaac Darkangelo is six foot one and weighs 230 pounds. The 23-year-old from Brighton, Michigan, made one tackle (1 solo) in one preseason game for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023. The Detroit Lions signed Darkangelo as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and he later signed with the Raiders.

Collegiately, Darkangelo played two seasons at Northern Michigan (2018-19) with 78 tackles (33 solo, 45 assists), eight tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 12 games for the Wildcats. He was named Second Team All-GLIAC in 2019.

Then, Darkangelo transferred to Illinois (2020-22) with 78 tackles (46 solo, 32 assists), 7.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and one fumble recovery in 26 games for the Fighting Illini.
