B.C. Lions sign linebacker Forrest Rhyne

The B.C. Lions signed linebacker Forrest Rhyne on Friday.

Forrest Rhyne is six foot one and weighs 233 pounds. The 24-year-old from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, made one tackle (solo) in two preseason games for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023. The Indianapolis Colts signed Rhyne as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He played three regular season games for the Colts in 2022 with one tackle (1 solo).

Collegiately, Rhyne played five seasons at Villanova (2017-21) with 309 tackles (130 solo, 179 assists), 25.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 45 games for the Wildcats. He was a three-time First Team All-CAA (2019-21), CAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2021, and First Team FCS All-American in 2021.
