Saskatchewan Roughriders sign OL Jacob Brammer and WR O’Joshua Bunton

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed offensive lineman Jacob Brammer and wide receiver O’Joshua Bunton on Friday.

Jacob Brammer is six foot four and weighs 301 pounds. The 25-year-old from Richmond, Texas, went undrafted in 2023. Collegiately, Brammer played four seasons at North Texas (2018-21) playing right tackle in 39 games for the Mean Green. In 2021, North Texas’s offensive line helped block for the best-rushing offense in CUSA (233.5 ypg), a unit that ranked fifth nationally. Brammer was named Second Team All-C-USA in 2020.

Then, Brammer transferred to Vanderbilt in 2022 playing 12 games, of which he started 11 of them. He saw the field for 718 snaps all at right tackle. Vanderbilt’s offensive line allowed 15 sacks in 12 games, the fourth-best mark in the Southeastern Conference.

O’Joshua Bunton is six foot one and weighs 183 pounds. The 23-year-old from Crawfordsville, Arkansas, played four seasons at Lane College (2018-22) with 47 catches for 868 yards, seven touchdowns, one carry for three yards, and one kick return for 61 yards in 29 games for the Dragons.

In addition, Bunton earned 2022 NCAA Division II First-Team All-American honors in both the 100-meter and 200-meter, becoming the first two-time All-American in school history. He set the school record in the 100-meter with a time of 10.36 seconds en route to earning the 2022 Lane College Male Athlete of the Year Award.
