The Memphis Showboats signed defensive lineman Josiah Bronson for the 2024 season on Tuesday.
Josiah Bronson is six foot three and weighs 295 pounds. The 26-year-old from Kent, Washington, made six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists) in three preseason games for the Miami Dolphins in 2023. Before Miami, Bronson signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He also spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys.
Collegiately, Bronson started at Temple University (2015-16) but a knee injury sidelined him for the season in 2015. Then, he transferred to Washington (2018-20) with 42 tackles (25 solo, 17 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and fumble recovery in 29 games for the Huskies.
