The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive lineman Tre’ Crawford for the 2024 season on Tuesday.

Tre’ Crawford is six foot three and weighs 245 pounds. The 27-year-old from Houston, Texas, made 13 tackles, one tackle on special teams, three sacks, and one forced fumble in nine games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2023. The Ticats signed Crawford as a free agent on March 23, 2022. In 2022, Crawford made five tackles and one sack in five games.

Before Hamilton, Crawford signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He also had a brief stint with the Denver Broncos.

Collegiately, Crawford played two seasons at Tyler Junior College (2015-16) with 96 tackles (80 solo, 16 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one interception, and two pass breakups in 18 games for the Apache.

Then, Crawford transferred to UAB (2017-18) with 47 tackles (34 solo, 13 assists), 12.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks, and two forced fumbles in 21 games for the Blazers.
