The Birmingham Stallions signed tight end Thaddeus Moss, wide receivers Adrian Hardy and Binjimen Victor, linebacker Kyahva Tezino, and defensive back Bryan Mills. In addition, the Stallions released TE La’Michael Pettway as he signed an NFL contract with the New England Patriots and will be placed on the practice squad.
Thaddeus Moss is six foot three and weighs 249 pounds. The 25-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, made 3 catches for 38 yards, and one touchdown in eight games for the Stallions in 2023 helping Birmingham win its second USFL championship.
The Stallions signed Moss on April 10, 2023. Before Birmingham, Moss signed with the Washington Football Team in 2020. He would also spend time with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Collegiately, Moss played one season at North Carolina State in 2016 with 6 catches for 49 yards, and 1 touchdown in 13 games for the Wolfpack. Then, Moss transferred to LSU (2017-19) with 47 catches for 570 yards, and 4 touchdowns in 14 games for the Tigers.
In the 2019 Peach Bowl, Moss caught 4 passes for 99 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown helping the Tigers win the beat Oklahoma 63-28, and caught 5 passes for 36 yards, and 2 touchdowns against Clemson in the CFP National Championship.
Adrian Hardy is six foot two and weighs 205 pounds. The 26-year-old from Houston, Texas, made 14 catches for 147 yards in eight games for the Stallions in 2023 winning their second USFL Championship over the Pittsburgh Maulers.
The Stallions signed Hardy as a free agent in 2022. In 2022, Hardy made eight catches for 128 yards and two touchdowns in three games. In addition, he made six catches for 79 yards in two playoff games winning the USFL Championship over the Philadelphia Stars.
Collegiately, Hardy played four seasons at Louisiana Tech (2017-20) with 168 catches for 2,370 yards, 12 touchdowns, and one carry for one yard in 39 games for the Bulldogs. He was named two-time Second Team All-C-USA in 2018 and 2020.
Binjimen Victor is six foot four and weighs 191 pounds. The 26-year-old from Pompano Beach, Florida, was on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad in 2023.
Before Baltimore, Victor signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and was placed on the practice squad. In the 2022 preseason as a member of the Ravens, Victor made eight catches for 104 yards in three games.
Collegiately, Victory played four seasons at Ohio State (2016-19) with 82 catches for 1,312 yards and 18 touchdowns in 46 games for the Buckeyes.
Kyahva Tezino is six foot and weighs 235 pounds. The 26-year-old from Los Angeles, California, made 94 tackles (53 solo, 41 assists), nine tackles for loss, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two touchdowns, and six pass breakups in ten games for the Pittsburgh Maulers in 2023.
In addition, Tezino made 22 tackles (15 solo, 7 assists) and one fumble recovery in two games leading the Maulers to the 2023 USFL Championship. He was named the All-USFL Team after the season. After the season, Tezino signed with the San Francisco 49ers with one tackle (1 solo) in three preseason games.
The Maulers drafted Tezino in the 31st round (249th pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft. In 2022, Tezino made 86 tackles (56 solo, 30 assists), five tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, eight sacks, one interception, three forced fumbles, and six pass breakups in nine games.
Before Pittsburgh, Tezino signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He also had a stint with the Carolina Panthers.
Collegiately, Tezino played four seasons at San Diego State (2016-19) with 290 tackles (150 solo, 140 assists), 32.5 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, two interceptions, eight pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 47 games for the Aztecs.
He was named a two-time First Team All-Mountain West in 2018 and 2019, winner of the SDSU Byron H. Chase Memorial Trophy Defensive Player of the Year in 2018, and was named the New Mexico Bowl Defensive MVP in 2019.
Bryan Mills is six foot one and weighs 174 pounds. The 24-year-old from Palmdale, California, made nine tackles (6 solo, 3 assists), one fumble recovery, and one pass breakup in four games for the Stallions in 2023. In the playoffs, Mills made eight tackles (5 solo, 3 assists) and one pass breakup in two games helping the Stallions win its second USFL Championship in 2023.
The Stallions drafted Mills in the tenth round (83rd pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft. Mills made one tackle (1 assist) in seven games for the Stallions in 2022. He did not play in the postseason in 2022 when the Stallions beat the Philadelphia Stars to win its first USFL Championship.
Before Birmingham, Mills signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He would later spend time with the New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, and Minnesota Vikings.
Collegiately, Mills played one season at Antelope Valley College in 2017 with 26 tackles (15 solo, 11 assists), two interceptions for one yard, and eight pass breakups in nine games for the Marauders. He was named to the All-Southern California Football Association.
Next, Mills transferred to the College of the Canyons in 2018 with 12 tackles (9 solo, 3 assist), 1.5 tackles for loss, and one pass breakup in eight games for the Cougars. Then, Mills transferred to North Carolina Central in 2019 with 22 tackles (17 solo, 5 assists), half a tackle for loss, half a sack, five interceptions for 61 yards, and 13 pass breakups in 12 games for the Eagles.
La’Michael Pettway is six foot one and weighs 230 pounds. The 26-year-old from Nashville, Arkansas, made eight catches for 99 yards, and two touchdowns in seven games, of which three were starts for the Stallions in 2023. In the playoffs, Pettway made four catches for 37 yards helping the Stallions win their second USFL Championship over the Pittsburgh Maulers.
After the season, Pettaway signed with the Indianapolis Colts but did not play the preseason due to an injury. The Michigan Panthers drafted Pettway in the 34th round (274th pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft. Pettaway made 24 catches for 307 yards, and two touchdowns in ten games, of which four were starts.
Collegiately, Pettaway played four seasons at Arkansas (2015-19) with 37 catches for 601 yards and five touchdowns in 19 games for the Razorbacks. Then, Pettaway transferred to Iowa State in 2019 with 55 catches for 676 yards, and six touchdowns in 13 games for the Cyclones. He was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2019.
