Philadelphia Eagles blow 15-point lead in a loss to Arizona

Philadelphia wide receiver Julio Jones caught two touchdowns against Arizona on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Eagles (11-5) played their final regular season game at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon against the Arizona Cardinals (4-12). The Eagles had a 15-point lead going into the second half but blew it and went on to lose to the Cardinals by the final score of 35-31.

Philadelphia had 275 yards on offense. Quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 18 of 23 passes (78.3%) for 167 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and eight carries for 25 yards. Running back D’Andre Swift had 13 carries for 61 yards and one catch for five yards.

Philadelphia wide receiver Julio Jones and tight end Dallas Goedert combined with seven catches logging 81 yards, and three touchdowns. Philadelphia had 89 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, one touchdown, two pass breakups, and three quarterback hits.

Arizona had 449 yards on offense. Quarterback Kyler Murray completed 25 of 31 passes (81%) for 232 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and five carries for 24 yards. Running back James Connor had 26 carries for 128 yards, one touchdown, one catch for five yards, and one touchdown.

Arizona wide receiver Michael Wilson made four catches for 35 yards, and one touchdown. Arizona’s defense made 49 tackles, three tackles for loss, one interception, two quarterback hits, and two pass breakups.
