Montreal Alouettes defensive back Zach Lindley was moved to the retired list on Thursday.

Zach Lindley is five foot eleven and weighs 190 pounds. The 24-year-old from Chatham, Ontario, made one tackle and nine tackles on special teams in 11 games for the Alouettes in 2023 winning a Grey Cup title. The Alouettes drafted Lindley in the eighth round (69th pick) of the 2022 CFL Draft. In 2022, Lindley made one tackle and 13 tackles on special teams in 12 games.

Collegiately, Lindley played five seasons at Western Ontario (2017-21) with 97 tackles (48 solo, 49 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions for 13 yards, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries in 22 games for the Mustangs. He redshirted in his freshman year when the Mustangs won the 53rd Vanier Cup in 2017.
