The Calgary Stampeders and linebacker Cameron Judge have agreed to a two-year contract extension through the 2025 season on Sunday according to Dan Ralph of The Canadian Press. Judge was set to become a free agent next month.

Cameron Judge is six foot two and weighs 234 pounds. The 29-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, made 90 tackles, one tackle on special teams, two sacks, five interceptions, one touchdown, and two forced fumbles in 17 games for the Stampeders in 2023.

The Stampeders acquired Judge from the Toronto Argonauts on February 4, 2022, for Royce Metchie. In 2022, Judge made 78 tackles, two tackles on special teams, five sacks, two interceptions, two touchdowns, and two forced fumbles in 17 games. He was named a CFL All-Star and CFL West All-Star after the season.

 Before Calgary, the Saskatchewan Roughriders drafted Judge in the first round (2nd pick) in the 2017 CFL Draft. Judge played three seasons in Saskatchewan with 102 tackles, 18 tackles on special teams, seven sacks, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles in 38 games. In 2021, Judge signed with the Toronto Argonauts with 13 tackles and one tackle on special teams in ten games.

Collegiately, Judge played four seasons at UCLA (2013-16) with 46 tackles (30 solo, 16 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, one interception for 12 yards, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 47 games for the Bruins.
