The B.C. Lions re-signed punter Stefan Flintoft on Tuesday according to 3DownNation’s John Hodge. Flintoft was scheduled to be a free agent next month.
Stefan Flintoft is six foot three and weighs 191 pounds. The 28-year-old from Westchester, California, had 95 punts for 4,439 yards (46.7 AVG) with a long of 80 yards in 18 games for the Lions in 2023. The B.C. Lions signed Flintoft as a free agent on January 14, 2020.
In three seasons with B.C., Flintoft has punted the ball 273 times for 12,911 yards (47.3 AVG) with a long of 89 yards (2022). Before B.C., Flintoft attended mini-camp for the Denver Broncos after going undrafted in 2019.
Collegiately, Flintoft played three seasons at UCLA (2016-18) with 135 punts for 5,897 yards (43.7 AVG) with a long of 70 yards, eight touchbacks, 44 fair catches, 48 from inside the 20-yard line, 30 from 50-plus yards, and had one punt blocked in 29 games for the Bruins.
