The B.C. Lions and wide receiver Jevon Cottoy agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2026 season on Thursday.

Jevon Cottoy is six foot five and weighs 230 pounds. The 27-year-old from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, made 57 catches for 807 yards, four touchdowns, four tackles, two tackles on special teams, and one forced fumble in 18 games for the Lions in 2023.

The Lions signed Cottoy as a territorial-protected junior player on December 12, 2018. In four seasons in British Columbia, Cottoy has made 184 catches for 2,263 yards, 11 touchdowns, nine tackles, 11 tackles on special teams, and one forced fumble in 66 games.

Before B.C., Cottoy played three seasons in the CJFL with the Calgary Colts and Langley Rams. In 2014 with Calgary, Cottoy made 34 catches for 686 yards, seven touchdowns, four tackles, and one tackle on special teams in eight games.

In Langley, Cottoy made 55 catches for 1,122 yards, 14 touchdowns, six carries for nine yards, two touchdowns, one kick return for 32 yards, and three punt returns for 11 yards in 12 games.
