The St. Louis Battlehawks signed wide receiver Jerome Kapp for the 2024 season on Friday according to The Reading Eagle’s Pat Rifino.
Jerome Kapp is six foot three and weighs 210 pounds. The 24-year-old from Scranton, Pennsylvania, made one catch for six yards in four preseason games for the New York Jets in 2023. The Jets signed Kapp as an undrafted free agent in 2023.
Collegiately, Kapp began at Seton Hall in 2018 as a redshirt freshman for the Griffins. Then, he transferred to Kutztown University (2019-22) with 122 catches for 2,190 yards, 22 touchdowns, six carries for 52 yards, completed 1 of 3 passes (33%) for five yards, one touchdown, and three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist) in 36 games for the Bears. He was named First Team All-PSAC in 2021.
