The B.C. Lions signed offensive lineman James Moore on Monday.

James Moore is six foot five and weighs 300 pounds. The 28-year-old from Tacoma, Washington, played nine games for the Houston Roughnecks (XFL), of which he made six starts. The Roughnecks offense ranked sixth in passing yards (1,948), second in rushing yards (969), and sixth in receiving yards (2,065).

Before Houston, Moore played for the Linemen in The Spring League. Then, he signed with the B.C. Lions in 2022 spending time on the practice squad.

Collegiately, he played five seasons at Central Washington (2014-18) playing 42 games at left tackle. Moore was named Second Team All-GNAC in 2016 and First Team All-GNAC in 2017.
