The Calgary Stampeders re-signed defensive lineman Elliot Graham to a one-year contract extension through the 2024 season and signed linebacker Adam Konar to a one-year contract through the 2024 season on Monday.

Elliot Graham is six foot three and weighs 253 pounds. The 25-year-old from Hamilton, Ontario, made two tackles, two tackles on special teams, and one forced fumble in nine games for the Stampeders in 2023.

The Stampeders drafted Graham in the fourth round (29th pick) in the 2021 CFL Draft. In three seasons in Calgary, Graham has made three tackles, nine tackles on special teams, and one forced fumble in 25 games.

Collegiately, Graham played three seasons at the University of British Columbia (2017-19) with 87 tackles (46 solo, 41 assists), five tackles on special teams, one sack, one interception for 107 yards, one touchdown, six pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 23 games for the Thunderbirds.

Adam Konar is six foot two and weighs 225 pounds. The 30-year-old from Vancouver, British Columbia, made 73 tackles and one tackle for loss in 18 games for the Edmonton Elks in 2023. He was in his second stint with the Elks. In 2022, Konar made 52 tackles, five tackles on special teams, two sacks, one interception, and two forced fumbles in 18 games this year in Edmonton.

Edmonton drafted Konar in the third round (25th pick) in the 2015 CFL Draft. In his first stint, Konar played three seasons with 83 tackles, ten tackles on special teams, two sacks, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles in 29 games, including winning the 2015 Grey Cup championship over the Ottawa Redblacks 26-20.

After being released by the Eskimos in training camp, Konar signed with the B.C. Lions. He played two seasons with 12 tackles, 21 tackles on special teams, and one sack in 31 games before returning to Edmonton.

Collegiately, Konar played one season at the University of British Columbia in 2011 with 47 tackles (35 solo, 12 assists), two tackles for loss, one interception, and three pass breakups in eight games for the Thunderbirds. He was named Rookie of the Year.

Next, Konar played for the Langley Rams (CJFL) in 2012 with 16 tackles, five sacks, three pass breakups, three interceptions, one touchdown, and four forced fumbles. He won the B.C. Football Conference’s Outstanding Defensive Player award.

After transferring to the University of Calgary in 2013, he missed the season with a torn ACL. In 2014, Konar made 57 tackles (42 solo, 15 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, one interception, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in nine games for the Dinos.
