The Montreal Alouettes released offensive lineman Sean Jamieson on Thursday.

Sean Jamieson is six foot three and weighs 317 pounds. The 29-year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba, missed the entire 2023 season with the torn ACL he suffered back in mid-October after playing 12 games in the 2022 season. The Alouettes won the Grey Cup in 2023 over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The Montreal Alouettes drafted Jamieson in the third round (20th pick) of the 2016 CFL Draft but he returned to Western Ontario for his final season. Jamieson played four seasons in Montreal playing 59 games, of which he made 47 starts at center and guard.

Collegiately, Jamieson played five seasons at the University of Western Ontario (2012-16) playing 37 games for the Mustangs with two tackles (2 solo). He was a two-time First Team OUA All-Star and two-time First Team CIS All-Canadian.
