The Montreal Alouettes signed wide receiver Malachi Carter on Friday.
Malachi Carter is six foot two and weighs 191 pounds. The 23-year-old from Lawrenceville, Georgia, made four catches for 43 yards in three preseason games for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2023. The Bengals signed Carter as an undrafted free agent in 2023.
Collegiately, Carter played five seasons at Georgia Tech (2018-22) making 99 catches for 1,417 yards, 10 touchdowns, and two carries for 36 yards in 58 games for the Yellow Jackets.
In his final season, Carter made 23 catches for 342 yards, two touchdowns, and two carries for 36 yards in 11 games. He set a new Georgia Tech record for the most games played at a collegiate level (58) and finished his career ranked 14th in program history for career receiving yards (1,417).
