The Michigan Panthers signed defensive back Will Adams for the 2024 season last Thursday.
Will Adams is six foot three and weighs 195 pounds. The 25-year-old from Richmond, Virginia, made five tackles (5 solo) in five games for the Vegas Vipers (XFL) in 2023. The Vipers drafted Adams in the eighth round (57th pick) of the 2023 XFL Draft. Before Vegas, Adams signed with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
Collegiately, Adams played five seasons at Virginia State (2016-21) making 151 tackles (102 solo, 49 assists), five interceptions for 58 yards, and one fumble recovery in 36 games for the Trojans. He was named First Team All-CIAA in 2021.
