The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed wide receiver Jamal Turner, defensive lineman Kelle Sanders, and linebacker Jimmy Phillips Jr. on Tuesday.

Jamal Turner is six foot six and weighs 245 pounds. The 25-year-old from Montgomery, Alabama, played six seasons at Toledo (2017-22) making 46 catches for 577 yards, nine touchdowns, and one kick return for seven yards in 50 games for the Rockets.

Kelle Sanders is six foot four and weighs 246 pounds. The 24-year-old from Lacey, Washington, made 8 tackles (4 solo, 4 assists) in three preseason games for the Baltimore Ravens in 2023. The Ravens signed Sanders as an undrafted free agent in 2023.

Collegiately, Sanders played one season at Snow College in 2017 with five tackles (2 solo, 3 assists) and one fumble recovery in six games for the Badgers. Next, he transferred to Independence Community College in 2018 with 19 tackles (8 solo, 11 assists) and three tackles for loss in six games for the Pirates.

Then, Sanders transferred to the University of Alabama-Birmingham (2020-22) with 69 tackles (27 solo, 42 assists), 9.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 29 games for the Blazers.

Jimmy Phillips Jr. is six foot one and weighs 232 pounds. The 23-year-old from Mesquite, Texas, made 15 tackles (12 solo, 3 assists), two pass breakups, and one quarterback hit in three preseason games for the Green Bay Packers in 2023. The Packers signed Phillips Jr. as an undrafted free agent in 2023.

Collegiately, Phillips Jr. played five seasons at SMU (2018-22) with 179 tackles (117 solo, 62 assists), 15.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, nine pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one blocked kick in 59 games for the Mustangs.
