The San Antonio Brahmas signed quarterback Tom Flacco on Wednesday. Flacco had signed a letter of intent to play for the Brahmas a few weeks ago.

Tom Flacco is six foot one and weighs 205 pounds. The 29-year-old from Audubon, New Jersey, signed with the Houston Roughnecks (XFL) in 2023 but the original Roughnecks were not included in the USFL and XFL merger that formed the United Football Leagues.

Before Houston, Flacco tried out for the Arizona Cardinals after going undrafted in 2020. He would also have brief stints with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Ottawa Redblacks. In 2022, Flacco was a volunteer assistant coach of offense for the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens football team.

Collegiately, Flacco played two seasons at Western Michigan (2015-16) completing 10 of 13 passes (77%) for 188 yards, one touchdown, 38 carries for 340 yards, and two touchdowns in 13 games for the Broncos. Next, Flacco transferred to Rutgers in 2017 but did not play for the Scarlet Knights.

Then, Flacco transferred to Towson (2018-19) completing 484 of 795 passes (61%) for 6,082 yards, 50 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, 278 carries for 1,066 yards, and six touchdowns in 24 games for the Tigers.

Flacco was named First Team All-CAA in 2018, Second Team All-CAA in 2019, CAA Offensive Player of the Year in 2018, and ECAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2018.
