The Arlington Renegades re-signed defensive lineman Doug Costin for the 2024 season on Thursday.

Doug Costin is six foot two and weighs 295 pounds. The 26-year-old from West Chester, Pennsylvania, made two tackles (2 solo) in four games for the Renegades helping them win the XFL Championship in 2023. The Renegades drafted Costin in the eighth round (57th pick) in Phase 3 of the 2023 XFL Draft. After the season, Costin signed with the Las Vegas Raiders playing one preseason game with one tackle (1 assist) against the Dallas Cowboys in 2023.

Before Arlington, Costin signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He also spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals. In 2022, Costin signed with the Birmingham Stallions (USFL) making nine tackles (4 solo, 5 assists), one tackle for loss, half a sack, one fumble recovery, and one pass breakup in six games helping the Stallions win the 2022 USFL Championship over the Philadelphia Stars.

Collegiately, Costin played four seasons at Miami (OH) (2016-19) with 174 tackles (74 solo, 100 assists), 31.5 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, 12 pass breakups, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and two blocked punts in 49 games for the Redhawks. He was named First Team All-MAC in 2019.
