The Barcelona Dragons signed wide receiver Imoni Donadelle for the 2024 season on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
Imoni Donadelle is five foot eleven and weighs 185 pounds. The 25-year-old from Youngstown, Ohio, was drafted by the Seattle Sea Dragons (XFL) out of the NFL Alumni Academy in 2023. He never played for the Sea Dragons. Seattle was not included in the XFL and USFL merger that formed the United Football League.
Collegiately, Donadelle played two seasons at West Hills College (2016, 2018) making 51 catches for 893 yards, 16 touchdowns, 11 carries for 33 yards, two touchdowns, 38 kick returns for 800 yards, and eight punt returns for 182 yards in 18 games for the Falcons. He was named a two-time All-Conference. In addition, he competed in track and field winning the regional 4×400 championship in 2015.
Then, Donadelle transferred to Northwest Missouri State (2019-21) making 64 catches for 1,188 yards, 15 touchdowns, 13 carries for 119 yards, one touchdown, 26 kick returns for 703 yards, and one touchdown in 27 games for the Bearcats. He was named Second Team All-MIAA in 2019.
