The Calgary Stampeders signed linebacker Tre Walker on Tuesday.

Tre Walker is six foot one and weighs 240 pounds. The 23-year-old from Dos Palos, California, made 46 tackles (20 solo, 26 assists) and half a sack in ten games for the Seattle Sea Dragons (XFL) in 2023.

The Sea Dragons drafted Walker in the sixth round (47th pick) in Phase 3 of the 2023 XFL Draft. Before Seattle, Walker signed with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He made three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) in three preseason games.

Collegiately, Walker played four seasons at Idaho (2018-21) with 326 tackles (167 solo, 159 assists), 18.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and six carries for 26 yards in 37 games for the Vandals. He was named First Team All-Big Sky Conference in 2021.
