The San Antonio Brahmas signed running back Anthony McFarland Jr., defensive tackle Jacob Sykes, and punter Brad Wing on Tuesday.

Anthony McFarland Jr. is five foot eight and weighs 193 pounds. The 25-year-old from Hyattsville, Maryland, played three preseason games for the Pittsburgh Steelers with 22 carries for 75 yards, two touchdowns, three catches for 23 yards, and two kick returns for 42 yards.

The Steelers drafted McFarland Jr. in the fourth round (124th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played four seasons with 42 carries for 146 yards, 11 catches for 87 yards, and nine punt returns for 237 yards in 17 games.

Collegiately, McFarland played three seasons at Maryland (2017-19) with 245 carries for 1,648 yards, 12 touchdowns, 24 catches for 199 yards, one touchdown, and one kick return for 40 yards in 23 games for the Terrapins.

Jacob Sykes is six foot three and weighs 282 pounds. The 24-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, made six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists), one pass breakup, and one quarterback hit in three preseason games for the Seattle Seahawks in 2023. The Seahawks signed Sykes as an undrafted free agent in 2023.

Collegiately, Sykes played four seasons at Harvard (2018-21) with 69 tackles (25 solo, 44 assists), 14.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and two blocked punts in 28 games for the Crimson. He was named First Team All-Ivy League.

Then, Sykes transferred to UCLA in 2022 with 29 tackles (14 solo, 15 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack in 13 games for the Bruins.

Brad Wing is six foot three and weighs 204 pounds. The 33-year-old from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, punted the ball 42 times for 2,010 yards (47.9 YPP) with a long of 72 yards in ten games for the San Antonio Brahmas in 2023. The Brahmas drafted Wing in the third round (23rd pick) of Phase 5 of the 2023 XFL Draft.

Then, he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers after the season, punting the ball 11 times for 495 yards (45.0 YPP) with a long of 52 yards, two touchbacks, and three punts from inside the 20-yard line in two games for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023.

Before Pittsburgh, Wing signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He also spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, and Memphis Express (AAF). In Memphis, Wing punted the ball 16 times for 705 yards (44.1 YPP) with a long of 54 yards and six punts for inside the 20-yard line.

Wing has punted the ball 336 times for 15,028 yards (44.7 YPP) with a long of 74 yards, 29 touchbacks, 103 from inside the 20-yard line, and one kickoff for 67 yards in 66 NFL regular season games.

Collegiately, Wing played two seasons at LSU (2011-12) punting the ball 118 times for 5,261 yards (44.6 YPP), and one carry for 44 yards in 24 games for the Tigers. He was named First Team All-SEC by the Associated Press in 2011.
