The Toronto Argonauts signed wide receiver Savon Scarver on Wednesday.
Savon Scarver is five foot eleven and weighs 175 pounds. The 24-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada, made seven catches for 69 yards in five games for the Ottawa Redblacks in 2023. Scarver played two preseason games with five catches for 59 yards. Before Ottawa, he attended the Chicago Bears training camp in 2022.
Collegiately, Scarver played five seasons at Utah State (2017-21) with 55 catches for 757 yards, five touchdowns, ten carries for 39 yards, 107 kick returns for 2,935 yards, seven touchdowns, and four tackles (3 solo, 1 assist) in 56 games for the Aggies. He is a two-time First-Team All-MWC (2018, 2019) and Consensus All-American in 2018.
