The Barcelona Dragons signed defensive end Derrick Brumfield on Friday.
Derrick Brumfield is six foot four and weighs 249 pounds. The 25-year-old from Cleveland, Ohio, played for the Reds de la Ciudad de México (LFA) in 2023 with 24 tackles (12 solo, 12 assists), two tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and three pass breakups.
Before Reds de la Ciudad de México (LFA), Brumfield played for the Tirol Raiders in 2022 with 37 tackles (20 solo, 17 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumbler recovery in 12 games.
Collegiately, Brumfield played four seasons at Notre Dame College (2016-19) with 108 tackles (71 solo, 37 assists), 38.5 tackles for loss, 19.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and five pass breakups in 49 games for the Falcons. He was named a three-time All-MEC Honorable Mention.
