The Calgary Stampeders signed linebacker Darius Hodge on Monday.

Darius Hodge is six foot two and weighs 245 pounds. The 25-year-old from Wake Forest, North Carolina, made six tackles (1 solo, 5 assists) and a half sack in two games for the Philadelphia Stars in 2023. The Stars signed Hodge as a free agent on January 28, 2023.

Before Philadelphia, the Cincinnati Bengals signed Hodge as an undrafted free agent in 2021. In the preseason, Hodge made six tackles and 1.5 sacks in three games. Hodge played four regular season games for the Bengals in 2021. After being released, Hodge was claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins. He spent two seasons with the Dolphins.

Collegiately, Hodge played four seasons at Marshall University (2017-20) with 116 tackles (36 solo, 80 assists), 20.5 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and two blocked kicks in 33 games for the Thundering Herd.

In his final season, Hodge made 63 tackles (19 solo, 44 assists), nine tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in ten games.
