The Saskatchewan Roughriders released linebacker Micah Teitz on Monday.

Micah Teitz is six foot two and weighs 225 pounds. The 27-year-old from Calgary, Alberta, made 57 tackles and six tackles on special teams in 18 games for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2023.

The Roughriders drafted Teitz in the second round (14th pick) of the 2018 CFL Draft. In four seasons, Teitz has made 127 tackles, 31 tackles on special teams, and three sacks in 59 games.

Collegiately, Teitz played four seasons at the University of Calgary (2014-17) with 191 tackles (149 solo, 86 assists), 16 tackles for loss, seven sacks, nine pass breakups, and three forced fumbles in 41 games for the Dinos. He was named U Sports Second Team All-Canadian in 2015.
