The Montreal Alouettes signed running back Sean Thomas-Erlington on Tuesday.

Sean Thomas-Erlington is five foot nine and weighs 217 pounds. The 31-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, had 16 carries for 88 yards, one touchdown, eight catches for 88 yards, one touchdown, and six kick returns for 92 yards in 11 games for the Ticats in 2023.

The Tiger-Cats drafted Thomas-Erlington in the eighth round (66th pick) in the 2017 CFL Draft. In six seasons in Hamilton, Thomas-Erlington has 207 carries for 1,258 yards, seven touchdowns, 71 catches for 719 yards, four touchdowns, and 25 kick returns for 498 yards in 64 games.

Collegiately, Thomas-Erlington played four seasons at the University of Montreal (2013-16) with 253 carries for 1,405 yards, 16 touchdowns, 51 catches for 543 yards, and five touchdowns in 28 games for the Carabins. In 2014, he helped the Carabins win the 50th Vanier Cup over McMaster 20-19.
