The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed fullback Clint Ratkovich on Tuesday.
Clint Ratkovich is six foot one and weighs 220 pounds. The 26-year-old from Crete, Illinois, made one catch for five yards in one preseason game for the Atlanta Falcons against the Minnesota Vikings in 2023. The Falcons signed Ratkovich as a free agent on December 27, 2022, and spent the rest of the season on the practice squad.
Collegiately, Ratkovich played three seasons at Western Illinois (2017-19) with 97 carries for 429 yards, 3 touchdowns, 128 catches for 1,204 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 11 kick returns for 233 yards in 35 games for the Leathernecks. He was named two-time First Team All-MVC.
Then, Ratkovich transferred to Northern Illinois in 2021 with 98 carries for 448 yards, 12 touchdowns, completed one pass for three yards, 13 catches for 113 yards, two touchdowns, and three kick returns for 37 yards in 13 games for the Huskies. Ratkovich helped the Huskies win the 2021 MAC Championship.
