The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed linebacker Rayshawn Wilborn on Tuesday.
Rayshawn Wilborn is six foot four and weighs 224 pounds. The 26-year-old from Lansing, Michigan, made four tackles (1 solo, 3 assists) and one sack in three preseason games for both the Denver Broncos and New York Giants in 2023. In 2022, he played two NFL regular season games for the Broncos recording no stats.
Before New York, Wilborn signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He also had stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers.
Collegiately, Wilborn played two seasons at Garden City Community College (2016-17) with 120 tackles (75 solo, 45 assists), 22.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and seven pass breakups in 23 games for the Broncbusters.
Then, he transferred to Ball State (2018-19) making 166 tackles (93 solo, 73 assists), 12.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, four interceptions for 52 yards, 12 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 24 games for the Cardinals.
