Arlington Renegades sign DT Darrius Moragne and DB Tenny Adewusi

The Arlington Renegades signed defensive tackle Darrius Moragne and defensive back Tenny Adewusi on Monday.

Darrius Moragne is six foot five and weighs 295 pounds. The 27-year-old from Holland, Michigan, had signed a letter of intent to play for the San Antonio Brahmas before the XFL and USFL merged to form the United Football League (UFL).

Before Arlington, Moragne played for the Jousters (TSL) in 2021 helping them to appear in the Mega Bowl where they lost to the Linemen.

In 2022, Moragne was drafted by the Pittsburgh Maulers (USFL) in the tenth round (354th pick) of the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. He made 16 tackles (9 solo, 7 assists), three tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in five games before an injury sidelined him and was later released.

Collegiately, Moragne played one season at Arizona Western College in 2017 making 13 tackles (3 solo, 10 assists), one tackle for loss, one sack, and one pass breakup in nine games for the Matadors. Then, he transferred to Kansas (2018-19) making 45 tackles (34 solo, 11 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one pass breakup in 15 games for the Jayhawks.

Tenny Adewusi is six foot and weighs 206 pounds. The 26-year-old from Avenel, New Jersey, made 50 tackles (30 solo, 20 assists), one tackle for loss, three quarterback hits, and two interceptions for five yards in ten games for the San Antonio Brahmas in 2023. The Brahmas drafted Adewusi in the tenth round (79th pick) in Phase 2 of the 2022 XFL Draft.

Before San Antonio, Adewusi signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2019. In 2020, he played for the Dallas Renegades (XFL) making 22 tackles (16 solo, 6 assists) in five games for the league suspended operations due to the pandemic. In 2022, Adewusi attended training camp for the Ottawa Redblacks.

Collegiately, Adewusi played four seasons at Delaware (2015-18) with 89 tackles (64 solo, 25 assists), one tackle for loss, two interceptions for seven yards, 17 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 39 games for the Fightin’ Blue Hens.
