The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are set to re-sign wide receiver Tim White on Monday according to TSN’s Dave Naylor. The deal is reportedly for two years. It was reported by both TSN and 3DownNation that White was looking for a contract worth $300,000.

Tim White is five foot ten and weighs 185 pounds. The 29-year-old from Santa Clarita, California, made 75 catches for 1,269 yards, eight touchdowns, six carries for 81 yards, one kick return for 47 yards, and one touchdown in 17 games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2023.

The Ticats signed White as a free agent on March 12, 2021. He played three seasons in Hamilton making 225 catches for 3,308 yards, 18 touchdowns, 27 carries for 222 yards, 17 kick returns for 376 yards, one touchdown, one punt return for eight yards, 11 tackles, and 1 tackle on special teams in 47 games. He is a three-time CFL East All-Star and two-time CFL All-Star.

Before Hamilton, White signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2017. In 2018, he made one catch for 14 yards, six kick returns for 135 yards, and nine punt returns for 75 yards in three games for the Ravens. In addition, White had stints with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints.

Collegiately, White played one season at the College of the Canyons in 2012 making 46 catches for 864 yards, 10 touchdowns, four kick returns for 82 yards, and three punt returns for 28 yards in 11 games for the Cougars. Then, he transferred to Arizona State (2015-16) making 113 catches for 1,346 yards, 10 touchdowns, 7 carries for 65 yards, 69 kick returns for 1,681 yards, one touchdown, 26 punt returns for 289 yards, and one touchdown in 25 games for the Sun Devils.
